Adoption is not a bad idea

Yesterday, i was chatting with a friend who has been waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb. She has waited 5 years and she is in a state of loosing hope. I suggested adoption and she didnt buy the idea because of the mockery some societies attach to it.

If you read my previous post on "Abused and Alone". Here is the continuation of the trial of the case of the Akolade Arowolo who stabbed his wife Titilayo Oyakhire Arowolo to death. So sad....I hope justice is served in this case. May her soul continue to RIP and may the Lord be with her daughter. I hope we all learn one or two things from this case

Housewife- Really!!! Wake up it's the 21st century plsssss

I wrote a post on Men having jobs and money to cater for the home. I got a couple of e-mails saying "How come it is only men you emphasized on?"....."Are you being a feminist?"... Am sorry if my post came across as been one-sided. Well, men have the larger role. Hence, the reason for the emphasis.

So here is for the ladies. I have heard lame excuses from a few ladies about not working....they say house-keeping is a full time job. So being an house wife has become a job....wow!!! Please don't sit on your lazy butt believing this thing called "Occupation = House wife".

I understand it is alot of work to care for the home but that is where multi-tasking comes in. There are loads of working mothers out there making money. Some people even have maids at home and yet still sit home and say "House-wife". Ladies, try your best to bring something to the table. If it is with whatever you earn you are able to pay for those little things such as phone bills, electricity bills, extra-curricular activities for your kids (Such as registration @ the children's club, swimming lessons etc). There are loads of things you can help the "head of the home" with, this little assistance you provide helps to foster a happy relationship in the home.

Recent updates: The lady says she is not the lady in the bath tub but she is the lady in this picture. Well, she also agreed that she granted PM News an interview and that she also told PM News that she doesn't mind taking controversial photos. Well, i hope she knows her controversial photos won't make her successful...her brains will (my 2 cents)

 

She is a 300-level student of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, NIJ, Ogba, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, She went nude to break into the big league of the glamorous Nigerian movie industry, known as Nollywood, saying she wants to be famous and rich.

The 21-year-old student, Ms. Enitan Adeshola Okesanya, vowed to enter the industry with a big bang.

“I think there is something missing in the industry and that’s me. I seriously think so. I have got this talent and passion inside me that I want to show to everybody out there. I want the world to see what I have got inside me, the God-given talent inside me, and I know that the media are actually waiting for that young person that will come and blow everybody away. That’s why I believe that they are looking for me,” she told our correspondent last night as both scanned through her bawdy pictures.

Former governor of Kogi state Ibrahim Idris is aged 78 years old and his new wife is aged 27 years old.

The bride’s name was given simply as Ramotu. She hails from Okene.  Her parents reside at Lokoja while Ramotu resides in Abuja with one of her elder sisters. She posses an O’Level school leaving certificate. Prior to her meeting the former governor,  she earned a living through hawking of ‘senegalese’ cloths at the Governor's villa.

When i saw this, i was in a state of shock. Surprised that anyone would ever agree to be the 13th wife to a 78 year old "great-granpa". The awful part of it is that the lady is 51 years younger than he is. So when this lady was born, he was already 51........WOW!!!
