Adoption is not a bad idea

Yesterday, i was chatting with a friend who has been waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb. She has waited 5 years and she is in a state of loosing hope. I suggested adoption and she didnt buy the idea because of the mockery some societies attach to it.

I think greater awareness should be given to adoption. I understand that a lot of people would want a child of their own but in the case where the time hasn't come as God is the only giver of children and we all know His ways are not ours. While waiting for yours, please consider adoption.

Let's talk about Steve Jobs,  For those who don't know who he is....Steve Jobs was the brain behind Apple (makers of Iphone, Ipad, Ipod etc). A little biography of this successful Steve Jobs is -
Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, to Joanne Simpson and Abdulfattah "John" Jandali, two University of Wisconsin graduate students who gave their unnamed son up for adoption.

As an infant, Steven was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs and named Steven Paul Jobs. Clara worked as an accountant and Paul was a Coast Guard veteran and machinist. They raised Steve, loved and cared for him. If anyone ever gets the honour of been parents to one of the best brains in the world called Steve Jobs then it is Clara and Paul Jobs even though they werent his biological parents. Maybe if Clara and Paul Jobs had their own biological child maybe they would have been running from pillar to post over him or her.

Steve Jobs passed away recently and he was worth billion of dollars. He was someone everyone wished they were related to even me inclusive.....lol. Given birth to a child biologically is a process....but a child is a child....adopted or biological. Do not give a bias to it. As long as you have adopted the child she/he is legally your own child just like your biological child.

As you wait on the Lord for the fruit of the womb... your time will come soon In Jesus name (Amen). Adoption is also not a bad idea if not for you but also for that little child that you will be giving his/her life a new meaning.

Have a good weekend people.
