Former governor of Kogi state Ibrahim Idris is aged 78 years old and his new wife is aged 27 years old.

The bride’s name was given simply as Ramotu. She hails from Okene.  Her parents reside at Lokoja while Ramotu resides in Abuja with one of her elder sisters. She posses an O’Level school leaving certificate. Prior to her meeting the former governor,  she earned a living through hawking of ‘senegalese’ cloths at the Governor's villa.

When i saw this, i was in a state of shock. Surprised that anyone would ever agree to be the 13th wife to a 78 year old "great-granpa". The awful part of it is that the lady is 51 years younger than he is. So when this lady was born, he was already 51........WOW!!!

I came to realise what poverty has really caused. Awful as it is, her parents and family members were so excited at this "achievement". So what happens to the other 12 wives. How many years does she have to enjoy her "husband" till he picks another wife?

This balls down to the selfish choices that we make. Man wants a young blood, woman wants money but what about the kids you are about to bring to the world. How many years would they be able to spend with their father? Think about the many enemies you've just added to your list.

I remember an eight year old kid whose dad is 75..... this little kid gets embarrassed when his dad comes to pick him in school. His friends unknowingly make a mockery of him while innocently asking why his dad is this old. He asked his dad to please stop coming to his school....lol. I can imagine what it would be like when this new couple's kids are age 8 and dad is age 88. His kids would ban him from picking them up from school...lmao.

It is so unfair when rich old men entice poor little ladies with their wealth and it is disgusting to see a wedding ceremony where 99% of the people in attendance know that the lady is in it for the money. So ladies, if you are planning on pulling a stunt like this pls have a change of plans ASAP. It is just disgusting.
