Just yesterday I shared a beautiful video. Here is another wonderful video....super hilarious.
My cousin Akinola Okunrinboye was one of the brains behind this video so thumbs up to everyone who made this short film. This is bringing Hollywood to Nollywood....lol.... The pastor is hilarious... You all got to watch this.

Ok, so jokes aside.....This video hits the nail on the head....this is exactly what 50% (my estimate) of people in a long term relationship go through. I do understand that there are some circumstances that warrant a long courtship - Finances (Both men and women want to be financially ready to afford all that comes with marriage- a home, a job, atleast a car etc), Age (Some people are just too young to start a marriage hence the long wait), Education/Career ( Substantial education and career not over the top).

On the other hand, some people are just plain selfish. They want to eat their cake and still have it (You have a "wife" you are not yet married to but you still want to enjoy the status of being "single"). Don't be selfish, do what is right if the time is right. While you are thinking he/she will always be there don't be stunned when you get a wedding invite in the mail and it is ur long term partner getting married to someone else.

I was in a long term relationship too....it did work for me but it just might not work for everyone.

No-Nonsense Wife!

My friend Tolu (Toni in the movie) shared this on her wall today and i thought every woman should see this. The lesson I learnt from this short movie is - Be careful of the advice you take from friends, No one has it easy - If anyone tells you their marriage, finance etc are 100% perfect please take to your heels.

Time to get a job! Let's talk interviews.

Let's talk interviews. There are loads of people going from one interview to another with no luck and I know been out of a job is frustrating and trying to get a new job is more fustrating. So if you are out of a job or you have a job but planning to change careers or jobs then this is for you.

I was once out of a job and it took me over 30 interviews to get a job. It was frustrating, but i never gave up till i got what i wanted. In order for you to be the best candidate for the job you will need to do the following:

I saw these videos today courtesy batttlebox.com and i was in shock. This video is an interview with random people at a university in Nigeria. Both girls and guys believe that it is normal to have more than one partner.

The most amazing part is that some girls agreed they would date married men for money on camera! This is just pathetic. I just hope these girls get to see this video and have a change of heart asap. Click to see videos.

It's time to talk in your relationship

Communication is key in every relationship. If there is no communication then the relationship is half way dead. When i mean communication, am not talking about normal day to day conversations. I am talking about pouring out your heart and having someone to listen even if you have to disagree to agree (not a fight session...lol).

Tribute to the 4 Uniport Students Lynched in Aluu

What happened to the phrase "Be your brother's keeper"? Since the incident, I haven't been able to bring myself to watching the video of the killing of these innocent boys. Whoever recorded those videos, whoever was in the crowd when this barbaric act was performed and did not do anything to stop it should know that God is watching and i hope you would ever be able to find sleep after it all.

To those of you who are not aware of this incident, here is a summary: 4 young innocent Uniport boys were mistaken for thieves and accused of stealing laptop and phones. The communiy vigilante stripped them naked, walked them around for 3 hours (video recorded), beat them to stupor with blood all over their bodies and then burnt them to death. SAD. Question is: if they truly stole laptops and phones does the purnishment not outway the crime?! My heart goes out to their families.....Read tribute below.
