Don't give up!

I love the saying: "There is always a light @ the end of the tunnel".  This is for those who think there isn't any more hope. This is the time to change your direction of thoughts, Be hopeful.
Let me start with those who think their world has come to an end just because their partner called it quit or their partner is cheating. See it as a relationship that was never meant to be, see it as part of building up experience. When you go for a job interview, they are more interested in your experience than your academic background because your past experience is much more valuable in getting the job done in a timely manner. The same goes for relationships that didnt work out, your previous experience would help you make a better choice.

It is time to let go off that old relationship that broke your heart, learn to forgive and move on. I know alot of people would say it is easier said than done. The moment you forgive, you feel better and it opens you up for better opportunities. Dont waste your time thinking and dwelling in the past, dont be bitter towards anyone that comes your way, take a giant step in moving on. I am not saying get a relationship ASAP, it would be better for you to take your time (not like decades....lol) have fun, mingle, make yourself happy, go to the movies, hang out with friends, go to lunch with a colleague, plan a road trip with family or friends.....just make yourself happy so you dont get weighed down with the hurts. Everyone loves companionship but it is only sweet when it is with the right person. Don't ever give up because you are closer than you think.
For those who are having financial difficulties, do not give up. Loads of people go through rough times. Either you lost your job or you are just not able to meet up with your day-to-day expenses, this isnt the time to give up this is the time to be stronger and see the better opportunities that are available. Keep sending out your resume, do not give up even if you don't get a call after sending out hundred resumes. I have had a time in my life when i went for 30 different interviews and still didn't get 1 single offer. Keep searching and when you eventually get an interview makesure you are well prepared for it (Read about interviews, most frequetly asked interview questions, interviews dos and donts etc). Stay positive and you would soon realise that you are closer than you think. For the self-employed, Knowledge is power so keep reading, there are various internet sites and blogs that have alot of ideas on how to boost your business so take advantage of it and put the knowledge you get into use.
For the people who haven't been blessed with a child yet(Note the word "yet", its never too late to have kids). If you are rich enough to try IVF, go ahead because it has worked for alot of people. You can also adopt, there are so many beautiful children out there with promising future waiting to be adopted. Adoption is not a disease, it shows how big your heart is. Adopted kids dont differ from biological ones. Steve Jobs, the brain behind Apple (FYI: For those who don't know Apple. Apple makes Iphone, Ipad, Ipod etc) was raised by foster parents, till his death he loved his foster parents more than his biological parents. For generations to come , his foster parents would be known as parents to one of the greatest people that ever lived.
For people who just can't see a purpose for their lives. Pray to Jesus, He would direct you. Take a piece of paper, write out your hobbies, your talents, the things you like to do. Match your talents with the things you like to do and you would see an idea coming up. Also, write out the names of people you love alot, spend time with them and you would see it would be selfish of you to put tears on their faces by not putting a meaning to your life. There is so much to live for, join a community, make friends, get a job, find a companion, talk to people, have kids or even adopt them. Be happy all and put a smile on the faces of everyone you come across. Always remember, Never give up!!!!

  1. There is some awesome piece of advice in here. I used to help with the Youth Advancement Program (of my local church), years back while I was the Youth President. I already had two Masters then, but was reluctant to mingle with the youths (even though I was less than 30 then); I didn't think I had anything to offer them, but really I just didn't want too much familiarity. Eventually, I was implored by the Priest to take up the role. I reluctantly did. But today, I feel very proud, in that I was able to impact the lives of more than 150 youths who had previously looked up to me (without my knowing), and had gone on to become all they could only imagine in their dreams. I helped many to navigate a fulfilling career path. Helped some with raising funds for their GCSE and University entrance exams. Even assisted many more by soliciting help from established NGOs to fund their higher education. And today, we all are very happy about 'our' achievements.
The Bible actually said 'whatever your hands find to do, do it diligently'.
    God bless you.
